Natural law above industrialism and revenge

Thanks. Good article and letter. The idea of revenge has, it seems to me,
a mirror side – fear. You might say that the "R" people are afraid,
that their desire for revenge is a projection of their own fear. It is a very
dangerous fear, similar to what drove the Nazi Party to attack any German
opposition with such cruel aggression. They, like the junta we have, had
traduced the most basic aspects of the Western Canon and the Law it expresses.
They, like our junta, feared justice itself.
The greater conflict, it seems to me, is one between industrialism and natural
law. Natural law must prevail and the adherents of industrialism must fail.
Thus their fear is well justified – as is our fundamental human optimism.
